Ever get the feeling your s/o is living by the opinions of other people and bring them into your lives.....
Like they would have an opinion or say something that is totally not them.....say someone who goes 100% by what people post here and go back to their s/o and say what other people say.

Yes. Believe it or not, I do understand. I know someone exactly like this. I don't think she has ever formed an opinion of her own. Her view on any topic depends on whom she last spoke to.

That person needs to find out who they are. They need to form opinions of their own before you can get to know the "real them". When ppl talk to me, I nod my head, and don't necessarily disagree with them but still retain my own opinions. If I started spouting out everyone else's opinions, then where would that leave room for me?

that can be quite challenging to the relationship. if you can handle it, just be patient and wait for that person to get to the point in their lives where they can make sound decisions for themselves. if not, explain to them how it makes you feel and it's not quite working for you. that's a hard decision b/c if you're in a relationship, there has to be something about them that you truly care about. good luck...

do you mean, that your g/f or b/f cannot think or do on their own, but has to get others opinions and/or permission to do, say or think anything on their own? Yes, that person needs to think on their own. Not worry about what others think.
