Maybe you are taking in excess calories from the fruits. Certain fruits tend to be more calorie dense than vegetables and vice versa.

1cup of water melon has 46calories
1cup of papaya has 55 calories
1cup of chopped apples 65 calories
1cup of pear slices has 96 calories
1 cup of mashed bananas has 200 calories

1 cup of cucumber slices has 16 calories
1cup of shredded lettuce has 6 calories
1 cup of cherry tomatoes has 26 calories
1 cup of cooked boiled cauliflower has 28 calories

see www.calorie-count.com

and so on

maybe if you examine the amount of calories you are taking in and their sources you may be able to pin point the reason why although you are working out you are not losing weight.

Also if your exercise consists of weight training exercises then you would be gaining muscle which weighs more than fat and this would give you the impression that you are not losing 'fat weight' when really you are!!!!

If you look at yourself in the mirror and notice a difference in your appearance although the scale says that you are the same weight it may very well be that you are losing fat and gaining muscle. Which is a good thing!!!

So keep up the training and the healthy diet!!!
Good Luck

The problem is you must eat a well balanced diet. Follow the USDA food pyramid if you do not know what is balanced.
If your hormones are acting up you will not lose. Also you may need your thyroid checked. The best diet if you were to go on one is Weight Watcher, it works and it is healthy.

For the exercise to work quicker you need lots of cardio (biking, swimming laps, running) to sweat and get heart rate high.
Strength exercises help in the long run but they dont work short term. The muscles burn more calories than fat. So it does help too.
Becareful of too much fruit, it is full or natural sugar (carbo) you are better off eatting a wide variety of vegies in a day and only two fruits. Careful of bananas and corn these are starches (eat 1/2 banana at most for potassium).

Make sure you are taking vitamin and mineral supplements. If you need something to curb the appetite use pure hoodia (African Cactus) it works and is safe.

Good Luck

Three things come to mind: water, vitamins & exercise:

Make sure you get enough water to drink. If you don't get enough water, your body may try to retain it.

Likewise, our bodies will often continue to crave food and store fat if we aren't get all our essential vitamins. We may eat and eat, but our bodies still "think" we're starving. If you think you're not getting all of your vitamins from food, find a good vitamin supplement to take.

It maybe that you just need to exercise a little more. Try to find creative ways to work more walking into your routine - that will help more than you know! I lost ten pounds by just doubling the amount I walk each day. I wore a pedometer for a couple weeks to get my average and then set about doubling it. I go for short "walk breaks" during the day, park on the far side of the parking lot, and make sure I go for a good 20 minute walk at least every other morning when I first get up.

Hope this helps!

If you haven't lost weight then your calories are too high.

Cut back on fats, snacks and sugar drinks. Choose non-fatty meats or pick chicken/fish. Skip snacks and junk food completely.

Look at the Success Stories below for motivation. We have a few college age girls who reached goal weight.
