Im in love with someone 20 years older than me. It realy is true love, but do you people out there think it is OK?

To me it depends how old you are. I mean if you are 30 and the other person is 50 I don't think that is a big deal, (as long as the man involved can still "function properly.") If you are 13-18 and he is 33-38 I think it could be difficult because both parties are not true grown adults. Age doesn't matter in a relationship if both parties are physically and emotionally fully mature adults. But when it comes to relationships honestly I don't care what people choose if they want to date someone older or of the same sex or anything, it doesn't affect me, so as long as both people in the relationship are happy and safe that is wonderful and should be accepted. I think if the younger person feels they are a true adult and prepared for an "adult relationship" then I think that person should ask family and friends who disapprove to realize that they are happy and you are not affecting their life in any way, therefore they should accept your decisions. It may take sometime, but if you can prove that your relationship is healthy then i think people will start accepting you and your relationship.

I think you should follow your heart...if you really love this person than age should be no barrier. I also think you sooner you get your relationship out in the open the better it will be for the both of you. You have to realise though that once you make your bed you have to lay on it so think real hard before you decide on being with this person because it will affect your whole future....

Others might talk about the age difference, but as long as the two of you love each other, are of legal age, and are happy, then I see nothing wrong with it.

well it depends how old are you but it doesnt matter what people think about you only you can think for your salf but know theres notthin wrong with it but becareful . im in love big time he is not going anywhere trust but dont think about what other people say they gonna talk about you when your dead so live you life and dreams also.
