i had this happen to me this past Friday. I always play the pick 3. when i do play, i chose two tickets (sometimes three if i'm feeling lucky). one's a quick pick, the other numbers of my choice. my choice numbers, i always play the same numbers.

well this friday i thought about going to get my ticket, and chose my numbers . i had planty of time to go get mine, but i was just too tired. i work third shift. so i thought well not tonight. maybe tomarrow.

well i missed the drawing during the time it showed up on tv. so i caught it in the saturday morning newspaper, and there in front of me were my numbers :(..... the ones i would have chosen to use.... this once in a life time came my way, and i missed out on it :(

this is my story. what about you? ever have this happen to you?

While there is such an organization in Belgium called the Nationale Loterij/Loterie Nationale, it would never ever be referred to as the Belgium National Lottery. Secondly, the jackpot figure is way too high. It's usually in the hundred of thousands, sometimes in the millions, but never in the billions. And especially not for any lottery they organize online. The prize money for their online games are kept quite low as not to encourage gambling addiction. Thirdly, you have to have contributed in some way to the jackpot in order to have a chance of winning it. Your chances of winning the lottery without paying anything for it is nil. They can and will not pay you a cent unless you can prove you purchased the winning lottery ticket. Plus, anyone organizing a lottery in Belgium is bound to strict laws, especially anything involving an element of chance. And fourthly, if you did win something and you can prove it, the National Lottery will write you a check for the appropriate amount that can be cashed at any bank. There is no need for a lawyer to get involved. And lastly, the simple act of picking out a random email address without the owners prior consent is very likely breaking some EU privacy laws. Unless your husband at one point or another explicitly gave his email address to the organizers of this lottery, they can't use it and shouldn't have mailed it in the first place.

Friend, i am considering myself as the most unlucky person?? at the moment.. I generally play KENO lottery where you can pick maximum 10 out of 20 numbers that are drawn from numbers 1 to 80 & i generally play the same set of numbers.. last month i had some feeling that today my set of numbers would come, but like you i had plenty of time to buy the tickets, but was lethargic. And then i checked the numbers next day, The same 8 numbers, which i had decided to bet were displayed in the result!! i am still upset, b'coz i could have earned millions (you were going to bet on just 3 nos'??)...after that whole month i am trying for luck, but in vain... i am already facing shortage of funds & above that i missed such a golden opportunity, now the whole episode kills me.. i am just praying to GOD, pls help me one more time, this time i wont miss it.. (i already have been very close few times).. Its killing me thats all i can say!

That's never happened to me, cuz I never play the same numbers. But one day while working in a store that sells pick 3, a man came in and cashed in a 50 dollar winning pick 3 ticket that cost him 2 bucks to play on. I looked at his numbers, and they were:
123
456
789
084
Anyway, he just did that and it woerked for him so I thought what the heck. I did the same thing, and then checked my ticket and won 50 the next day with the same numbers!
It was pretty neat!
