I am trying to understand a good friend of mine. I suspected that she liked me, and I was starting to grow feelings for her. I told her she was my type, but I wanted to remain friends. She agreed and told me she had not intended to flirt. When she kept bringing up what more I wanted than friendship, I told her anything more is impossible and that I saw her as a really good friend. She was really happy that I thought she was that good of a friend. Now, she seems to hint like crazy at me though, and she even told me in front a few people that could hear that she had told a group of little girls that I was her boyfriend. What is going on???

You should talk to her or let her go, don't play the games.

Your guess is as good as mine if not better. Sometimes it is not nice to remain friends with someone that obviously wants more. It can be cruel. If you really think a lot of her and yet she is making you uncomfortable. If you truly don't want anything more than friendship then I think you need to move on and stop being a friend. Because after all.... if you really consider yourself a good friend to her then you'd be being a great friend by letting her go. I hope and pray all works out in the end.

If you are a boy, & she's a girl, & you are friends then that may be why she defines you as a boyfriend.
It could also mean that now she has time to think about things, & may want to pursue a closer relationship with you.
The only way to know for sure is to ask her for yourself.

Infatuation. Love your friend anyway. Pull her to the side and let her know that your friendship is important to you, but if the lies continue, the friendship will have to end. Also do not disredit friendship. It is important in any relationship.

Well, what's going on is that she likes you. Blame yourself - if you just wanted to be friends, why tell her she's your type?
On the other hand, she could just need a boyfriend and you were the best choice.

well... if you don't want to go out with her, say it! don't be telling her that you think she's kinda cute but you just wanna be friends. be a man an tell her your are not interested and be firm about it. however if you do like her but are worried that it going too fast tell her to slow down and take things one step at a time. but before you do all of this you have to be sure of what you want. don't play with her! and stand your ground if you tell her you just want to be friends.

good luck!!!!

sounds like she does have strong feelings for you but is afraid that if she tells u that, she could lose you completely. she wants you whatever way she can get you. she would like to be your significant other, but if you don't agree she's happy with being friends. that's what it sounds like to me.

she really likes you and is not taking the hint you do not want to go out with her. If you really don't want to, let her know flat out.
