Hi,
Hopefully someone can help me out on this one, enquiring for a friend. They are Irish citizens travelling from Ireland to Canada to visit family, then going to Florida and going on a cruise. They will then return to Canada, and fly home from there. What kind of visa do they need, i know they wouldn't need one if they were just going from Ireland to the U.S but because they are going to Canada, then in to the US and back to Canada, there is some type of visa they need. Can anyone help me out here, thanks!

I believe it is called a transit visa and is limited to single entry. These are easy enough to get from the U.S. embassy in Ireland.
