yes, i was proposing a girl in kashmir at Laal Bagh and suddenly a human bomb exploded. It was so terrific day for me.

From what I can understand from your question....
Yes, people can fall in love through tough situations. Ever seen the movie Speed? They mention it at the middle and at the end of the movie that tough situations usually bring people closer together.
From my own personal experience, I have been with the same wonderful guy for 3 years. When we were just friends, we were in a very traumatic car accident where injuries were sustained to both parties. It was the accident that brought us closer together and made us realize that we loved each other. So out of negative things can come great things. So yes, you can fall in love even if the circumstances are unpleasant.
