They just pull them off and it doesn't hurt at all, just a slight pressure.

I'm afraid too because I got mines 3 days ago and 2 already came off. one was i think at the orthodontist but didn't know then and the second one while i was watching TV the the next day. I am also eating soft foods and stuff and I'm pretty sure it happened b. the lady didn't glue it well. And I do not want to pay extra if they fall out 3 times!! Just tell them how they came off and when and tell them you weren't eating the wrong foods and they will listen.

My dentist had some sort of solvent with a light to remove the glue, they pulled the brackets off and then scraped my teeth to make sure the glue residue was gone.

With mine, the orthodontist cut the wire, and drag that out. She then kind of knocked the squares off- this doesn't hurt, though sounds and feels a bit odd. Afterwards, the glue was sanded down and hey presto. Well done for getting to this stage, its great when they come off believe me.

I had my braces taken off at 16 and it was kind of painfully but they might have a different way doing it now. They just literaaly pop them off with some kind of tool.

Hi - when I had mine taken off, the orthodontist (who is, I hope, no longer practicing) yanked them off with pliers. It didnt hurt BUT it did wreck my teeth! When my bro had his taken off, they used some sort of solvent. Again, didnt hurt. Youll be fine - congrats on your straight teeth!xx
