Ever since I had my children, I've had a problem with my left arm "falling asleep" (for lack of a better term) while I'm sleeping and it doesn't seem to matter what position I'm sleeping in. It keeps waking me up at night and I'm looking for suggestions to improve my circulation or something. Suggestions would be appreciated!

Talk to your doctor about it. Not to worry you, but my dad's arm did that before he found out he had heart complications. It could be due to blood clots. But it could also be something as simple as a misaligned neck or vertibrae. Being pregnant causes a lot of fluid build-up in the body and your joints loosen. Maybe something didn't set back properly and just needs adjustment. Best of luck!

try a different pillow, or slightly elevating the head of the bed with some blocks or boooks. try a matress pad that relieves pressure points, and if all else fails, get a firmer mattress.

Cooshy soft matresses create pressure points and pinch arteries.

My arms do this a lot since ive gotten pregnant. BUt my husbands does it all the time, since his collar bone isnt in his shoulder joint.

You may have developed pregnancy induced carpal tunnel syndrome. Or, you may be sleeping with your hands curled up underneath of you. I was having this trouble with both my arms. At the recommendation of my doctor (who had pregnancy induced carpal tunnel syndrome) I began sleeping with wrist braces on - it took some getting used to - but I don't have any trouble sleeping now, nor do my arms fall asleep anymore.

The going to sleep of the palms isn't a blood grant situation yet a nerve situation. once you sleep particularly positions, the stress should be utilized to the nerve to reason a mild to stated anesthesia outcome to that nerve.
