My sisters has an appointment this afternoon for her dog because she is bleeding from her vagina. The dog is like 6 years old and was spayed when she was old enough to be spayed. ( a puppy) Does anyone know what this could be? Thanks so much

I would bet it is a urinary tract infection. Since she is spayed that would be the most common reason for the symptom she is experiencing. It is very hard to tell if the blood is coming from her vagina or urethra for a lay person. I wouldn't be overly concerned just yet.

Possible problem:
Coagulation (clotting) disorders that result in abnormal bleeding may produce a bloody discharge that can be difficult to distinguish from blood in the urine (hematuria).

I would just relax until your sister has the appointment. Let the vet tell you what's really going on.
