A while back, this good friend of years started flirting with me. We got close, so I asked her if she liked me. I had started to grow some feelings, but she denied that she was flirting intentionally and said she was being friendly. Now, we are much closer friends, but she touches me more than ever, taps my foot at meetings, and tells a group of girls that I am her boyfriend. She told me that telling the group of girls was a joke, and she proclaimed, "Isn't that funny?" I did not know how to react! What the heck does she want??

sounds to me like she either wants you to go ahead and make a move, or on the other hand, it could be her wanting you to want her, just without the ties... but a girl wouldnt tell her friends she was dating someone unless part or her wanted it to be true.... just try talkin to her again, tell her how you feel. If she keeps tellin you no, then shes just leadin you on. ... so i guess it all depends on what your willing to risk to find out. ...good luck

Except for her words, I'd think she wants you for booty. Look, pussy footing around is for the birds. Tell her exactly what she's doing (she knows already) and make her fess up to her game. Games are for the bb court, the fb field, or tennis court, not for friends. Jerk her chain a little.

she wants you, but is afraid that your friendship is going to change. women often fall for someone close like their best friend or someone whom they see often and they often fall hard, but nothing comes from it because they afraid of a change and not having the feelings reciprocated. if she's telling her girlfriends you two an an item then she really wants to be. just let her know what you think of her and how you truly feel. be honest or you won't get her, she will be able to tell if you are lying. i hope i helped and best of luck.
