The Nikon D70.

It depends on your budget. I love my D200 but it's expensive. The D70 is discounted now because Nikon has just launched it's replacment the D80. You should be able to pick up a D70 w/ Lens at a good price if your looking for a DSLR. If your looking for a Point & Shoot most of the 6 mega pixel and higher Coolpix cameras are fine. Go try them out at a good camera shop.

For DSLR = the D80

It's like a D200 in a D70 body, but like $800 less

For Point & Shoot:

Coolpix line is cool...just see which one fits your buget.

Please post a new question. Tell us how much you want to spend, what you plan to use the camera for most of the time, and what your prior experience is with photography. With this information, we will be much more helpful to you.
