I agree with Violet Pearl. However, only the names of the hosts should go on the invitation. So if only the bride and groom are paying for the wedding, then the parents' names should not go on the invitation at all.

that's what I did, my Fiance's mom and dad at the instant are not formally divorced with the aid of they have not been residing mutually for sometime now. So I pronounced son of Elicia Smith and Jose Smith. yet on the grounds that your mom and dad are remarriage you could record your mothers call together with her new final call. maximum people who you're invited to the marriage understand that your mom has a sparkling final call. till if your mom and dad have been married maximum of your life, i myself won't record their present day significant different's call. The invitation will in basic terms get too messy. yet another determination you're able to do is to assert mutually with their mom and dad, Bride's call and Groom's call request the honor of your presence. this type you in basic terms avert the finished concern. You do have quite some thoughts.

Normally, the invitation would only include the names of your parents:
Mrs Jane Smith and Mr John Jones
invite you to the wedding of their daughter
Ms Lacy Jones
If you want to include step parents it should be:
Mr & Mrs John Jones & Mr & Mrs Jane Smith
Invite you........
Personally, I would go with the first:)

Mr. and Mrs. so and so
&
Mr. and Mrs. this and that
would like to invite you to witness the etc...of their daughter, (your name) to (your fiance) son of so and so...(you get the idea lol)
Only my father re-married so mine read something like that with just my mom first and then dad and step-mom, my sister did the same way. We asked my mom if she minded before inserting my step-mom in the invite and she said she didn't mind. We didn't want to offend anyone or make anyone feel left out.

I had the same situation when I was married several years ago. I worded it as such:
Mr. and Mrs. (father's name)
and
Mr. and Mrs. (step-father's name)
request the honour of your presence
at the marriage of their daughter
____ __
to
____ ____ ____
son of
Mr. and Mrs. (father-in-law's name)
Date, etc followed

Include all the parents or exclude all parents names. It's an all or none thing. Sorry...but that's my best advice.
