So you get to ask more questionsd with more points -big deal! Why do people think that just because I gave a good answer I did to get points. When someone says that I am trying to flatter them with my answer to get points it's actually offensive. Aren't the points just a number anyway. I actually enjoy giving answers and asking questions.

For some reason the points system here is a huge competition. . . I don't personally understand it. It's not like you can say, oh I didn't go to college but I have 56 million Yahoo Answer points so hire me. Just have fun and don't worry about the people on this site who take it so seriously.

I don't think that it's that important. I enjoy helping others by giving them advice and helping them with issues that they need answers for. The questions are just a perk I guess but I don't even pay attention to them. The only good thing is that we can answer more questions if our points are higher up.

You only have 24 "best answers" so I don't see how that's flattering or point gaming. Just continue answering questions the way you want to. Personally, I ask many questions but normally don't pick the flattering answer--I feel that's vain.

Usually the higher the points means that they also have several "Best Answers" so people tend to trust them more than someone that might have a lot of points and very few best answers.

I agree with you on that... I actually enjoy answering questions as well..and i dont like it when they say i answer too many in a day! People are just jealous because they want the points for themselves. who cares about points..orrrr..what people think.

I agree with you. Maybe if you have a lot of questions to ask, you need those points. I don't know. I just liked your question and had to comment.

I agree. I just like to give my advice due to having numerous pregnancy complications myself. I don't care about the points. I just like to know there are others out there that are like me and I am not alone. Thanks for letting me vent too.
