Send the ACLU a Christmas Card! It is time to get out your CHRISTMAS cards list! As the ACLU are working so very hard to get rid of the CHRISTMAS part of this holiday, we should all send them a nice CHRISTIAN card to brighten up their dark, sad, little world. Make sure it says "Merry CHRISTMAS" on the inside only. Here's the address; just don't be rude or crude. (It's not the Christian way, you know!) ACLU 125 Broad Street 18th Floor New York, NY 10004 Two tons of CHRISTMAS cards would freeze their operations because they wouldn't know if any were regular mail containing contributions. So spend 39 cents and tell the ACLU to leave CHRISTMAS alone. Also tell them that there is no such thing as a "Holiday Tree". . . . It's a CHRISTMAS Tree! Pass this on to your e-mail buddies.
Merry Christmas Everyone!

like your style but then think it would be better to make a Christmas Card on the computer and send it in a regular business size envelope. this would really confuse them more wouldn't it ?

Will send Christmas cards as always..it's just a tradition that I find hard to give up. Since most of our friends and family are scattered, very often the cards end up with lengthy notes in them as I'm not the best at keeping up the rest of the year. It's a little bit of a chore, but I really enjoy it. Always include a wish for a Happy New Year on the Christmas cards.

Aren't you the same gal that was running around saying the ACLU wanted to take God out of Thanksgiving? Could you please point us to a verifiable source that shows the ACLU is actually trying to "GET RID OF" Christmas? I think this is a rumor and part of the *made up* culture war meant to help "prove" Christian persecution.
Actually - it's a YULE tree. You guys took that idea from the Pagans. Christmas was originally a WINTER SOLSTICE celebration. Just clarifying.
As for Walmart - I don't agree with the Christian reason for boycotting them because I can think of BETTER reasons. Instead of worrying about Merry Christmas - why not worry about all the sweat shops in China where their cheap products are made? Or how poorly they treat their employees? Those seem like more charitable and Christian causes to me.
Merry Christmas to you, too! :)

Nope, but I'd be glad to send you one of my Shoebox Season Greetings cards.
I got them at Hallmark, not Wal-Mart.
You can choose between one with sheep on the front wrapped in lights that says, "Fleece Navidad" or you can go with the Seasons Greetings surprise card.
Maybe I'll just continue on with my holidays the way I always do, and just laugh that people like you don't have anything else better to do than start problems.
Or, I can feel sorry for you that your only joy during this time is wasting money on something that won't do anything except make the ACLU work harder, hire more people, and put you on their "lump of coal" list.

I have sent a Christmas card to the ACLU for the past 3 years and never got one in return. They are so rude. My brother does also. I hope this catches on!
Merry Christmas!

Why Christmas cards are annoying. You start out sending to the most intimate friends and then it balloons because someone sends you one and you are obligated to send one back. Highly doubtful that the ACLU will succeed anyway. Have fun sending your cards though.

Much like Jesus would have done, I like to include EVERYONE this holiday season.
Thanks for the post though. I'm sure Jesus isn't TOO ashamed of your trying to exclude some from being wished a happy holidays.

Are you aware that not everyone in the whole world is christian? People like you make me wish that there was an afterlife, just so you would rot in hell. Wow, that really made get in touch with the christian spirit!
Happy Kwanza!

I'm sending out Yule cards, like I did last year.
And since you STOLE Christmas trees from the pagans (who used to bring them inside so spirits would have safe harbor through the winter), I don't think you get to b*tch and moan about it being called a Holiday Tree, sweetie.
Blessed be!
