Feel for ya!! I tried changing toothpastes and everything else listed here, but nothing has helped me. The only time i get that gaggy nauseated feeling is when i do the inside of my back teeth.. nothing to do with flavor or anything. I've asked around (a Dr. and a midwife) and all they said was brush as good as you can in the morning without throwing up, and then do it later in the day. This has helped me! If I just do what I can do, then wait until after lunch and do it real good, i usually don't get nauseated.

I feel your pain. With all 3 of my kids, I gagged every time the toothbrush hit my mouth. I finally got it down, though... Try putting the toothbrush in your mouth with just water, brush for a minute, get your tongue, then (using as little toothpaste as possible), use the paste. The most important thing for me was to never let the toothpaste get to the back of my throat, so I had to spit a lot.

You can use plain baking soda to brush your teeth... pour a little in the palm of your hand and dip a dampened toothbrush in it. It helps, but the taste is awful.

Good luck!

It is important to keep our teeth and gums healthy when pregnant. Even if you don't brush as well as you should, at least you're trying. I used a kid's fruity toothpaste to make it easier. Also, try a kids brush since a smaller head might make it easier to brush.
Good luck!!

My last pregnacy was like that, I used to dread having to brush my teeth and it lasted the entire pregnancy, as soon as I gave birth it was gone, it's just one of those preganay things.

YES!

Brush with just water if you have to and floss. Try a kid's toothpaste and see if that helps. Don't be surprised if your gums bleed easily, it is all part of the pregnancy package.
Good luck!

There's no logic. It shouldn't be a problem if done normally.
