Grrr, the dentist. I know how horrible going to the dentist can be, but your teeth are extremely important and it's always best to just go and get it over with. Explain to your dentist that your jaw hurts, and he/she might be able to relieve it a bit. Think how good you'll feel after you come out - no more dentist appointments for six months!! :o)

Well, I always have more problems AFTER I visit dentist so I've given up going. It's always the ones that they've filled and made the alleged hole bigger. Would I have any probs at all had I not gone in the first place? Who knows. If I get a problem, I'll go but otherwise not.

In other words, it's up to you really. Will you be fined if you cancel at such late notice? Will they thin to take you off of their books? All pros and cons, you just need to weigh them up and discover what's best for you... Perhaps ask to only have one filling done tomoro and see how it goes. Just don't let them pressure you into more than you feel you can handle.

Yes, you should still go to your dentist appointment tommorow. Just explain to him/her that your jaw hurts and maybe they could take a look at that while you are there. Plus, they numb your mouth while you are there... so it should be fine. If it starts to hurt while they are doing the work, tell them and they will give you more stuff for the pain.

You should definitley go to the dentist. Filling aren't that bad at all. Tell your dentist that your jaw hurts, it might be a dental problem.

Just go and get it over with. If you need fillings you wont be doing yourself any favours by delaying it. Tell the dentist your worries and they should work with that in mind. Plus, you might get charged for cancelling within 24 hours.

Go to the dentist and explain the situation, if you need the fillings, get 'em. Jaw ache, no matter how bad isn't as bad as not being able to eat you fave food in comfort, no sirree!!

You should go. If you chicken out, then you'll never be able to go back and your teeth will fall out, and you will suffer cavities and toothache and bad breath!! If you are having more than one filling, ask your dentist just to do one on this visit, and go back a few days later for your next one.

Maybe you could go and get one or two done (depending how many you need) but you should call with plenty of notice cos your space could go to someone else. work in a dental practice so I know. But hope your jaw is ok

Defintely go.. I didn't go quite a whiile ago. Now I have a massive toothache and have had to book an emergency appointment for tomorrow.

If you leave it, it WILL get worse and start causing you some serious pain.

I'm going.....so you should. We can compare notes!!
