Chicken pox are spread either by direct contact with the skin lesions or through the air when an infected person coughs or sneezes. It is extremely contagious.

You CAN get chicken pox twice, but it is extremely unlikely. In the few cases where it has occurred, the individual usually has a compromised immune system. Shingles is often confused for chicken pox.

If you have had chicken pox and you have a normal immune system, you can rest assured that you won't get chicken pox again. If you do, it is time to buy a lottery ticket...

Chicken Pox is most often contagious only when you are fevered. I wouldn't touch the spots either though. You could probably catch them that way too. The chance of getting them again is very rare, but not unlikely.
