I have a bunch of charts on paper (in fact PDF). What I don't have is the numbers that lie behind the charts. Is there a way of scraping these off, short of getting out a ruler?

Thanks!

If you can print the pdf's then do that, then try scanning with Optical Character Recognition software which will allow you to edit the new files. Although there will be a lot of mistakes, so check carefully!
