Last year it was all silver,year before it was all gold.

I went with a blue and silver theme this year, I've also seen the purple and silver theme alot

I think your Christmas tree should reflect you. I use a lot of gold and white lights--I change the bows every so often-I have used gold, red and green. We like the familiarity of having the (somewhat) theme each year. I then decorate with a a lot of traditional Christmas themes throughout the house. Whatever you do --ENJOY the season!

It seems to me from the books, magazine and shows I have watched about Xmas Decor this year, that the IN THING is actually going back to nature. Feathers, pinecones, various things of nature used on trees...even birds nests. ( which are supposed to be lucky in fact)This is very beautiful and it makes it very economical to make those decorations. Have a Happy Xmas and good luck with decorating.....

I noticed a lot of stores are using non traditional colors such as blue and purple. It looks really modern.

Personally, i like the whole red, green, silver, and gold colors.
