I have an american bulldog, I use soft brushes for everything on him, including around the eyes, in the folds. Gently expose the folds, scrub gently with a soft brush, my favorite is a soft tooth brush. Just be very sure you don't make the skin sore and be gentle. Gentle is the key. The comment about the vaseline on the dogs nose is a good idea...I would think to not use much though. It might clog something up!

Bring him/her to a groomer, or just call a groomer and ask them how they clean bulldogs...

Here's some web info I found:
Wipe his face over daily, ensuring that you wipe out the wrinkles (especially the one that goes over his nose) with a damp cloth or baby wipes, make sure you dry thoroghly and if any soreness is present wipe a little Sudocrem into the folds. A dab of vaseline on his nose will keep it soft and prevent it from drying out and becoming flaky.

We use baby wipes for daily care. The important thing to remember is to dry well between the wrinkles!

Warm wash cloth with mild soap and water and clean water to rinse of the soap. You should dry in between when you are finished so the dog does not get an infection. Friend has had one for years, this is how she cleans him.

the same way you clean any other dog. In a tub of water with some shampoo. Just make sure he 's good and dry after :)

Just use a wash cloth and warm water to clean it daily. You could also try baby wipes.

Peroxide and water....Most important is making sure the area is DRY!! yeast infections are common between the folds. It is the perfect moist, warm and dark area to grow yeast.

Pull the skin back in one area and just scrub him clean becareful around sensitive areas such as the face, belly, and butt.

Use more care when needed.
