Can anyone with experience in the case tell me how long did the whole procedure take by bringing a brother/sister to live in the United States. I'm a citizen and I'd like to start the process of bringing my brother..... HELP !!!... I need succesful stories please

depending on the country he is coming from if the country has been at war with the united states anywhere up to 10 years if not the process can take up to 5 years

My sister-in-law immigrated from Africa. I think it took a total of 1 year for her to get her paperwork and approval. My brother was in the Peace Corps. so that might've helped speed things up.

You would have to sponsor him. Visit the USCIS website and looks for a link on sponsoring a relative.
