Well, it depends on how old and mature you are.
If you're two adults and you feel that you'd like to build a serious relationship, you can ignore his mom, if you choose. But you should realize that this has some serious consequences.
If you're not adults yet, his mom probably has a pretty good reason.

Talk to his mom. This will impress her that you have the guts and maturity to talk to her about this.

Remember that his mom is much older and has a lot of life experience, something about you that you can't help may make her feel that you're not right for her son.

I was in a relationship that my parents disapproved of for 2 1/2 years, and it was hard, but in the end they were right. He and I were SO SURE that we were meant to be, get married, yadda yadda yadda, but now I'm so glad we didn't because we were young, and he was a jerk and I didn't see it because "oh but he's SO great..." NOT! Just be careful in getting your hopes and expecations up, especially if you're young.

If are a kid living at home, your mom probably knows best. You will most likely go through a few relationships that you think are meant to be before you are all grown up.

If you are under the age of 18, then you need to follow your parents rules. If you are really meant to be, then waiting until you are 18 do be together wouldn;t change anything.

There are two possible solutions you stay with the guy and keep his family as far as possible, which i don't think he is going to accept or stay with him and his family living in a hell, since love ends and you would get tired.
Or, my favorite, you get away by yourself and realize that you weren't meant to be after all.
Getting married to a person is getting married with that person's family.

Just ignore her. But if my mother was taking it to extremes I would recomend her to a therapist. Also ask the my father to have a little talk with her. But I'm 21 yrs old so I can be with whoever I want. As for you well the only thing I can think of to tell a teenager is to just ignore her. Both of u to ignore her.
