Certainly. All you need to do is whatever needed to be done to have the suspension removed in the old state. Of course that would be easier to do in the old state before you move.

If you are asking "Will the new state know about the suspension?" the answer is a resounding yes, as soon as you give them identification proving you are you and they bring it up on the computer, the suspension in your former state will show up and they will not issue you a license.

If you lie about it, and say "no" to the part that asks if you have had your license suspended in another state, and they issue you one in error, it will be void as soon as they find out. If you manage to get insurance, and ever have a claim, when they investigate and find this out it will be reason for them to deny your claim. Bottom line, no, get it fixed.

Normally the new State will ask you for the old DL from where you live now. If the clerk is doing their job correctly they will probably run your name through the computer and find your license has been suspended.

Yes and you could resolve the issue in your state as well by getting an SR-22 just go to the insurance company and tell them usually they have you sign a bunch of paperwork and it may take a couple of weeks to get it reinstated yes it cost depends on state in TX it is 200.00 my husband is a police officer, and ruke of thumb is if your license is suspended and you are drivinfg if you PRESENT it you can go to jail on the spot. So don't present it, and its like you didn't know. Good Luck

it is against the law. you arent supposed to be driving on a suspended license. try taking care of your business. what if you get caught and they take away your L's for good? then how will you feel?
