If you went to see a doctor he probably won't charge you for a sick note. If you did not visit a doctor, then yes, you'll have to pay when you go see him to ask for a sick note. Doctor's offices will not provide sick notes if you have not been in to see the doctor.

It's always a good idea to provide a sick note to school or work when you're out for a week. Yes, you are the one who is required to pay the charges, if you're the sick person, but if you were already seen, the doctor or his nurse is usually willing to write a note for you regarding instructions without any additional charge(s). In addition, many areas have a community health center with reduced rates for people with low-incomes. You might qualify for something along those lines if you can't afford private care or have insurance coverage. Your local department of social services might be able to send you in the right direction, if you're unsure of where one might be located.

No, if you are sick and the Dr. says you are. Just ask him for a note and he will write one for you with no problems. I have never heard of paying for a sick note before. Maybe a co-pay for the visit but that is it.

A note from the dr should not cost anything. If u were truly under a dr care, go to the dr who treated u and ask for a note.

If it's required by your tutors, then yes, you have to visit a doctor in order for he/she to determine if you are sick. Otheriwse, ANYONE can simply say they were sick and avoid classes.

Your doctor knows you were sick? If so go and talk to his nurse and ask for a note. I do not pay to talk to my doctors nurse....

Yes you will have to, doctors charge for them. Employers or College's do it so stop skiving because to go to the docs is a pain and it encourages people to go into work instead. I worked for an employer who used to do this.
