When she is close and can heard say (kittens name) come here. Call her by her name when she is paying attention to you. It will take a while but she will learn. And don't call anything by her name until she knows it.

Most animals learn the sound of treats very fast...try shaking the treats while saying her name (give her a treat when she comes) and gradually do more calling than shaking. Eventually you won't have to do any shaking of the treats or even give her a treat. This also trains your cat to come to you which is a plus!!
Just using her name a lot when interacting works well, too. Call her only by her name as nicknames will confuse her.

all my four cats learned there names while they were kittens, and ill tell you the secret. take yourr kitten to a room with no noise in it, or anything that would distract your kitten. go in there, and start playing with your kitten. call her by her name a lot, and make her, or him purr. it will not only learn its name, but it will also create a bond between you and your kitten.

Use the same name consistently and use it alot. I read that cats know their name and love to hear it. Took a while for my cat to learn it but once she did she now responds to it and throws her tail around when I call her. It's cute but it took time.

Well, if shes still very yung it will take time. It took a few months for my kitty to really know her name.
Basically i just would reccomend to play with her and reward her with treats like saying 'good girl....' and her name and call her and each time she looks or awnsers reward her again. It wll take time, but she will eventually pick up on it.
Good Luck x

Eventually she will just pick up on it. Try saying her name while interacting with her. Don't give her any cute little nicknames until she learns her name that will just confuse her.

you know, first I called my kitten Chelsea but she wouldn't reply when I called her, I think she didn't like the name
and then we decided to change her name to Macya and she is pretty happy with that
seems like she chose her own name

Just keep saying her name over and over. she will pick up on it. Say her name to her when you look at her, so she knows you are talking to her.
