IF U WANT 2 STRAIGHTEN UR HAIR THEN:-
Shampoo + Conditioner
When you wash your hair make sure to use a shampoo and condition. Whether you use a two in one or separately you should always condition. If your hair gets oily quickly you should wash and condition your hair almost everyday because oily hair does not straighten well.
Use a Serum
Once done cleaning, if your hair is really tightly curled you should put a serum in to reduce the amount of frizz.
Drying
Flip your head over and blow dry your hair facing up while using your fingers. You don't need to style it because you're going to straighten it anyway. Blow drying upside down helps because it gets a lot of the spot we neglect, like our roots.
Ironing
You should turn on your iron for a minute or two while blow drying or before you straighten to get it at the heat you want by the time you start using it. Separate your hair into three layers, doing the bottom first top last.
When you begin, start at the root and use a round brush or a fine tooth comb as your guide. The round brush is used if you want the ends rounded in or out. The comb is used to give you pin straight ends. Keep doing this process and bring down another layer when you've finished one until you're done with your whole head.

I too have curly hair. Number one is find someone who specializes in cutting curly hair. Most hairdressers are not able to cut/style it correctly, leaving you feeling down and depressed. Alot of stylists use the razor....aghh!!...it leaves the hair frizzier! I go to Toni and Guy salons, but Aveda also has excellent stylists. Next, you need good products! I love TIGI smoothing lusterizer. Put it on towl dried hair then blow dry using a large barrelled brush. Then I straighten my hair in sections using a ceramic straigtening iron. (Expensive for good ones, but last forever and well worth every cent---Chi makes an excellent one). I do this every 2-3 days, and use an oil absorbing dry shampoo. Sephora sells a product called Stila Creme Bouquet Hair Refresher (found online as well). Hope this helps!

I HATE the way human beings continuously criticize curly hair! If somebody (quite a guy) posts his image on right here with curly hair, particularly everyone continuously tells them get their hair straightened. every time i bypass to the hairdresser, the only difficulty they'd arise with is the two straightening my hair in the different case reducing it so short the curl would not prepare. i don't even have curly hair on my avatar, because of the fact Yahoo makes each and all the curly-haired avatars seem approximately 50 years previous - not something like my actual hair! it somewhat is a conspiracy!

Aveda has some great products. When I make my hair curly, i use the curling gel from them, and scrunch a lot. i guess they said that if you use a alcohol product first, it helps the curling gel dry faster, if you want straight hair they have this stuff called hang straight, that is good too. but what i think is very important is the damage control spray they have. it protects when curling, blow drying and straightening. it will help protect your hair so when you do style it, it will not look as damaged and frizzy. your hair and face are two different things.

use the style videos:http://www.garnierfructisusa.com/
at least try to work with the curls. People will tell you to straighten but the truth of the matter is whether thay say it or not is that it is damaging. Especially chemical treatments, like perms. Heat can damage too. Try to go on the internet and look up some nice curly styles.

ok here are some tips
first wash your hair with shampoo, do not scrub your head...very important.
second use conditioner and flip your head upside down in the shower and run your fingers through your hair rinse out with your head upside down
ok third...squeeze out the water with your head still upside down.
use a towel to squeeze out your hair too.
do not use a brush!! put a little product in and let air dry or use a
diffuser.
all curls are beautiful...if you just don't want them. get it straightened.

Work with your curls, not against them. I struggled with my naturally curly hair for many years before I learned how to work with it. Straightening it takes too much time and it doesn't look as good as well-done curls.
I use Garnier Fructis Hard Curl gel on my damp hair. Depending on your hair's length, use plenty of gel to coat all of your hair. Mine is shoulder length and I use about 2 palms full of gel. Distribute the gel with a comb and then spray hair with hairspray. I use Dove Extra Hold.
Blow dry using a diffuser (it doesn't friz out the curls). Turn your head upside down to blowdry the top of your head. Scrunch your hair a little as you blow dry to make the curls springy. Once dry ( takes me about 10 minutes) spray with hairspray again to hold.
Although I use a lot of product, once my hair is dry it is not crunchy or stiff.
After you style your hair, try not to touch your curls as much as you can. Touching them separates the curls and creates frizz.
Work WITH your beautiful curls, not AGAINST them by straightening them.

first, learn how to spell, because i had to read this 3 or 4 times before i finally understood it. to minimize your curls, you could get a relaxer in your hair or just straighten it. if you don't own a straightener and you don't want to get a relaxer, just learn to love your curls. everyone is beautiful in their own way, and you probably aren't as ugly as you think.
