I don't like adobe Reader, its 20 mb. Foxit Reader is another PDF reader and its only 2 mb.

i think, the adobe acrobat software installed in your system somehow got corrupted. that's why you couldn't open the pdf files. you can fix it by reinstalling the software. you will get the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader from the following URL. try this..
