I have been coming onto yahoo answers' dog section, asking lots of questions and reading lots of other Q&A, and I have learned a lot more about dogs from a lot of people, especially from the actual breeders (st. lady and chetco, among others). Aside from learning a ton more about dogs, I still have no idea what a troll is, is that another term for backyard breeder or what? Is that the name given to a backyard breeder? This is driving me nuts can someone explain? Thanks!!!

Trolls are recognizable by the fact that they have no real interest in learning about the topic at hand - they simply want to utter flame bait. Like the ugly creatures they are named after, they exhibit no redeeming characteristics, and as such, they are recognized as a lower form of life on the net.

A Troll is a person ( i use the term loosely) that doesn't care about the animal or the standard.(Breeds for Profit at the dogs expense) Doesn't get veterinarian care when needed (instead comes on here while the dog is bleeding for cheap advice) Someone that picks the answer they want to hear, not what is best for their dog. Should have to live with the same treatment they provide for their animal. Often uneducated, stupid,lazy, cheap,moronic and is DUMB AS A STUMP!!!!!! PS. your not a troll. And they do love to make us mad!!!!!

A troll is someone who goes into a thread (or starts a thread) with the intention of stirring up trouble. For instance, if you posted that your dog was digging holes in your yard and you wanted to stop it, and I told you to shoot the dog, I would be a troll.

A troll is someone who Intentionally posts a response or question to incite a crowd into a frenzy.
Generally just look at GitEmGang's responses and questions and there is a perfect example of a troll.
