Has anyone had any experience with this system? You install it yourself after viewing a cd.

I HAVE A HOFFCO,ITS BEEN FINE FOR 6YEARS,I INSTALLED IT MY SELF TOOK 2HRS

First check with your car dealer to see if it will interfere with the car's security. Many car starters need some additional parts.
My GM mechanic friend really recommends against most after market starters.
I'd also check with local law enforcement. Even though there is no key in ignition and they kill if you touch the brakes, they are illegal many places. My friend got a ticket for his. He fought it and lost. It was illegal in Mpls.

If you have any mechanical and electical knowledge then you can install it no problem.

Don't do it. The cheap ones are not worth the hassles you will end up with.
