Certainly. Most of it is history that has been recorded elsewhere, just told from a number of perspectives.
It deals with people known to have existed and things that they are known to have done.
However none of the supernatural occurrences have been supported except one. That is the destruction of the Tower of Babel. There is a ruin that fits some of that story in that its destruction shows evidence of the release of a great deal of power of some kind. In Iraq if Saddam didn't tear it apart.

Many, many things in the Bible have been independantly verified by historians, scientists, archeologists, etc There are also Biblical claims that haven't been independantly verified, perhaps because they never happened... or perhaps because it's just incredibly difficult to verify events from 2000 years ago (and prior).
As an example, there's only one semi-credible independent account of Christ's existance. What we know about Christ is almost exclusively from the Bible, which we would charactorize as a biased source. That doesn't mean Christ didn't exist. I firmly believe that He did, but if you really delve into the secular history of the times, there's not much there.
As to how that reflects on other religions... well depends. There is a great deal of independant evidence in support of the OT and NT accounts of life and civilization as the Bible describes it. So we would say that the Bible has some credibility. In many respects, it's clearly not fiction.
Contrast that with the "Book of Mormon". There is virtually no independant evidence in support of the BOM's historical claims to do with the civilizations and technologies that the BOM describes. So, in that regard, the BOM is utterly lacking in any credibility at all.
When historians are looking at ancient history there's very little that can be proved beyond any doubt. Most of what we know is a matter of what is most likely, given what evidences or indications we have.

That's a very good question.
Bible predictions of things to happen in the future confirm the inspiration of Scripture as they come to pass. Notice the following examples of fulfilled Bible prophecies:
A. Four world empires to arise: Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome (Daniel chapters 2, 7, 8).
B. Cyrus to be the warrior to capture Babylon (Isaiah 45:1-3).
C. After Babylon's destruction, it would never be inhabited again (Isaiah 13:19, 20; Jeremiah 51:37).
D. Egypt would never again have a commanding position among the nations (Ezekiel 29:14, 15; 30:12, 13).
E. Earth-shaking calamities and fear toward the end of time (Luke 21:25, 26).
F. Moral degeneracy and decline of spirituality in the last days (2 Timothy 3:1-5).
The 66 books of the Bible were written:
1. On three continents.
2. In three languages.
3. By about 40 different people (kings, shepherds, scientists, attorneys, an army general, fishermen, priests, and a physician).
4. Over a period of about 1,500 years.
5. On the most controversial subjects.
6. By people who, in most cases, had never met.
7. By authors whose education and background varied greatly.
Yet, though it seems totally inconceivable,
1. The 66 books maintain harmony with each other.
2. Often new concepts on a subject are expressed, but these concepts do not undermine what other Bible writers say on the same subject.

Nope. No proof, and the Bible isn't proof either. How can you say this is proof, when it is something that could be altered and changed from the religious men in the past and the ones now? The earth and the air we breathe and all life around us? Not proof either. That only proves that we are beings who live on the only planet capable of keeping us alive. It does not prove that the being known has "God" created it. Especially since he doesn't proclaim by himself and let himself know that he created it. Instead you have to rely on imperfect HUMAN religious men who are fully capable of lying, cheating, and stealing from men and women trying to find the point to their existence. These same religious men are also capable of making a certain "BOOK" to try to prove the validity of their claims.

I'm sure you'll get Christians insisting that there's proof, but as a former Christian and a free thinking intellect, I always questioned the Bible. I think it's a great book, so was Gone with the Wind and Dr. Seuss, but I wouldn't go basing a religion on a book that nobody who supposedly wrote it is available to answer my many questions, so for me this book remains in the fiction department, and again, great book, fabulous stories...

The christian bible contains many proofs in science, history, and health.
For example: The scriptures claim that the Earth is round thousands of years before the church killed scientists for suggesting the same belief.

yes there are petrified chariot wheels at the bottom of the sea which Moses is believe to cross and what Pharoh trying to cross.
the Catholic church has many artifacts which are related to Biblical stories.
the Pilate stones show that Pilate was in fact in power and then lost power and then got back into power again as mentioned in the Bible.
but the greates proof of all is the prophecies that come true. even right now with the Jew returning to Israel as it was prophecied thousands of years ago.

It has been said that the Devil uses the truth to deceive. It is much more effective to use some truth when deceiving anyone. Use the truth as a base, then spin the truth in your favour with lies. Some of the most effective politicians use this technique and I have to tell you it's very effective. So to answer your question, the bible is fill with truths but they all have been distorted by lies.

Do you want proof of Jesus? There is more historical proof of the existance of Jesus than any other person in history. Scores of people wrote about Him outside of the Bible. Only really foolish or totally uninformed people would ever say that He did not exist.

A few minor historical details, but otherwise, no. None of the miracles has ever been validated, and many of its tales have been shown to be symbolic at best, false more likely.
