The enzymes in this fruits fight free-radical damage and are known to reduce age spots and fine lines and leave the skin supple. They also cleanse the skin by dissolving dead cells from the skin’s surface.
Here is how to use these healing fruits on your skin:

INGREDIENTS 1 slice green papaya or 1 tablespoon papaya juice
. Massage the fruit or juice onto your face. Although the fruit is sticky, it is best to let it dry completely (it takes about 10 minutes), before rinsing with warm water and patting dry. Rub your hand over your face to feel just how much softer and more supple the skin feels!

Papaya is a wholesome fruit. Papaya has more carotene compared to other fruits such as apples, guavas, sitaphal, and plantains. This pigment is similar to that found in carrots, beet root, dark green leafy vegetables like drumstick leaves, palak, curry leaves etc. Carotene in food is converted into vitamin A in our body. 100 gms of ripe papaya contains only 32 kcal. The comparative low calories content make this a favorite fruit of obese people who are into weight reducing regime. It has a good vitamin C content of 57 mgs for 100 gms. Unriped green papaya is used as vegetable. It does not contain carotene but all other nutrients are present.

Excellent choice of fruit for other health reasons as well.

Very rich source of antioxidants such as carotenes, vitamin C and flavonoids, B vitamins - folate and pantothenic acid, minerals, potassium and magnesium, also fiber.

Papayas promote health to our cardiovascular system, protection against colon cancer, papaya contains papain which is a digestive enzyme, it's used like bromelain, which is found in pineapple.

Also helps us with our immune systems, great for our eyes, lots of minerals, you can't go wrong with this fruit, so enjoy :)

Tons of antioxidants and important enzymes.

Eat it and use the leftover part to apply to your face and neck to dissolve dead skin (leave for 10 minutes, wash with cleansing grains).

At the Face & Body forum at Kimkins I recommend papaya facial masks in conjunction with Retin-A and daily AHA creams.
