Yeah pretty much :-) these are man-made, relative concepts, after all.

Good is what causes no harm to the people we don't want harmed and evil is what causes them harm.

Killing thousands of Japanese during WWII was good. Killing thousands of Americans would have been evil.

We don't count how many Iraqi civilians are killed every day in Iraq because that is not evil, but we keep tabs on the number of soldiers killed and maimed.

Evil is the absence of goodness, just like darkness is the absence of light.

Basically, yes. However, this leaves one wondering what they like and don't like. Do you really want to hurt others? Do you really want to run around like in Grand Theft Auto and leaving nothing but chaos in your wake and make society unstable? Do you even really want to stir up tension by forcing your beliefs on others? If so, well, that's your decision but I have made mine. I like the idea of peace and harmony, and therefore in my private universe it is good. Ideas about heaven and hell and God need not apply.

No, bc ppl enjoy sin, and God says it's evil. As our Creator, God has the right to determine right and wrong and govern our lives how He sees fit. God defines what is good and evil, bc He's the only one who's perfectly good, He's wise enough to see what actions will harm us in the long run, and so labels them as evil.

To some degree, yes. I prefer to look at what harm things cause. (By the way, calculus and tomatos are evil...)

No. Good brings harmony and joy, evil brings hate and chaos.
