The best time to have children is when you are ready to be a parent. Some people jump into parenting without realizing what they are getting into and this manytimes ends up taking a toll on the child. I think it's best to have kids within few years because if you have a kid that's 5 or 6 he or she has the ability to understand things. so if you have a second child, you will end up paying more attention to the new baby and the older one will feel left out. This sometimes effects the child psychologically. Also if there is too much age difference, they might not feel to close to eachother that they would not be able to talk about certain things.

The best time is different for everyone. I personally wouldn't want them to be that far apart. I would say no more than 3 years apart because I enjoy the fact that my children are in close proximity to age so my children never feel abandoned from another because they are all 2 years apart and their experiences at certain ages they never have to deal with alone because they have 3 other siblings to go to if they are uncomfortable telling me, they always have a friend their age.

Wow! You've been given lots of advice, here's mine: think of all the angles, money, time, patience, siblling rivalry. Having them close together means high diaper cost, lots of temper tantrums. Need cars at same time, Go off to college within a year or two of each other. All very expensive, but once it's over it's over and you can enjoy your adult children and their kids. Spreading them out means just getting past a stage with one and beginning with another. You may start to feel like you will never live for yourself again, but instead of being hit with everything at once you have more time to plan and let each child be an individual. You just have to decide what is best for your situation and if an accident comes along, embrace it!

Young parents are the bst in the world,,,Do not wait until you are too old to enjoy them and children do get on your nerves and you will have to give up a lot and another thing that is very important that you be married as a child needs a father and a mother full time called the family unit as children feel and need to feel secure,,,Now the down side to all this a Mother at a young age gives up who she might have been as a person but if it is worth all that then you are ready. for motherhood,

I would say when the child is 3 get pregnant, and the child will almost be 4. The child will already be potty trained and you would have spent a lot of your time getting the child ready for preschool. I had mines 2 yrs apart, I wish I waited, because potty training is h e l l !

Have them close together, about 12--16 months apart. That way they'll always have a companion to play with and later, to confide in.

Never have kids close together. You need at least an 18 month difference but 24 months to be on the safe side. If you have kids close together, they can come out mentally disabled

I would suggest to have them at least 2 to 3 years apart cause by the time you get pregnant again the first one is out of diapers and doing in the toilet wich is perfect cause it cost less and its less work for mommy with the new baby. And your first one will start school soon to so.......
