Why can't the world put aside differences and follow the teachings of the Buddha?

There are different relgions because, basically, every religion is founded in the self-story of a specific people, and an attempt to make sense of *their* lives, in *their* circumstances, within *their* culture of poetry and myth, and environment.

particularly, because of the fact the poor habit of a vocal and influential team of Jesus "followers" undermines any solid works he would have certainly endorsed. and because different Jesus followers refuse to renowned those evil deeds completed in his call, the "trickle down" is blocked by ethics.

Jesus taught sacrifice, service, submission, and selflessness.
That is a turn off right there. Most people think about themselves first.
