not illeagal, but down right disgusting,impolite and any other terms others may come up right.
I had a guy sit next to me. He had the aisle seat so I could not gt away. He prceeded to let gas out I dont know how many times.
I almost became real rude and told him to go to the toilet and get himself cleaned out.

Yes actually it is. They have a provision which states that anyone can be removed from a flight if they emit an odor found offensive to other passengers...
A passenger was removed from a flight just last weak for body odor.

No but you may have more serious problems if it's a continual long trump. If it's just farting more often then thats due to air pressure. It's perfectly legal in UK.
