I did not, so my answer would be no, not all men do.Remember, there have been a lot of women cheating to, whether they are at home, or abroad.

It isn't a matter of whether they are military men or on deployment - it's a matter of morality and honesty.
I strongly believe that the percentages of unfaithful jerks in the military is the same as in the civilian population.

Not generally. The option for the most part is less than in the civilian world. There are fewer women and fewer places to accommodate it but the military is a cross section of America. This means that what happens out there happens in the military, including infidelity and major crimes.

I would say that it was a high percentage.
If the woman cheats while he is away, it would be with someone local so she maybe caught out, where as no-one would know about the man unless he confessed himself. It is so much easier for him to get away from it & be honest, they do need some kind of release from the situations they face everyday (not excusing that kind of behaviour in any way, but it's true).
The truth isn't always a good thing :-(

I was a West Coast Sailor, and we had a saying, "What happens on West Pac, stays on West Pac". This meant that what ever happened while on West Pac (6 month deployment to the Western Pacific) was not talked about when we returned to the States.
I'll let you figure out why we had this unwritten rule.

I'd think it was less than 10%. From the stories I've heard, it's the women left at home that cheat more than the men.
Don't try to justify what you did by saying they do it too....
Like I said - I have NO sympathy for you. You had better wait until he is home from deployment (and not just on leave) before you tell him that you cheated.

strange as it may be, after 23 years in the service I have found very few men cheat on their wives, but, the percentage goe's up once they get home especially after they find out that their wives have been cheating, most guys , after they take out for their wives allotment and buy the necessities for them selves don't have the funds for a ride into town or ? what can they do with out any money? but, the wives always have more money and opportunity's ,but, most are true to their man.

In Iraq and Afghanistan it's a small number, because the only accessible females are other military and government and contract personnel.
Muslim women are only in extremely rare circumstances available for sex with Westerners. The penalty for getting caught is, under Sharia, death.

it depends on where the man is stationed... if he gets sent to Iraq the chances of him cheating are very very slim... ( no opportunity's!)
If he gets sent abroad to some place like Germany, or any other westernized country, there is a better chance since there is actual opportunity... but that doesn't mean he'll definitely cheat, it just means he'll have opportunity!
