i have downloaded the setup of windows xp sp3 form internet but when i run the setup it does not and show that "your window is not genune" please tell me what to do for running the set up.

While there are a couple things floating around that are listed as XP SP3, Microsoft has yet to release an sp3. I would strongly recommend that you NOT install the sp3 on your PC as it is not a legitmate update.

Service Pack 3 for Windows XP hasn't been officially released yet, not even to technet or msdn subscribers. Most likely you are trying to install a true Microsoft beta or a home made service pack 3 that can be found on the internet. I would suggest waiting until the final sp3 is available to download as it comes with support.

This worked for me! After some days, reconnect the stress and notice what occurs. i'm hoping this might cut back the issues of many.
