Hello, people. I have a very important question. I met this girl
on the job back in 2004. I knew of her since 2001, she was
a teen ager then. (Now 22). Anyway, she is about 5'5, golden
blonde hair. Beautiful blue eyes, dreamy ones too. She has this
soft mellow, voice. Kinda like Drew Barrymore. Athletic type,
and intelligent, also. Unlike most. We were co-workers at
Wendy's for 3 years. Started falling for one another, kissing,
hugging, behind close doors. You know, so nobody would see.
We never dated, or anything like that. Especially after she
became the manager. So I left there. Now she is gone to another
job. At the mall. Word has it, that she is single, and looking for
someone solid. Catch is she may get really serious with me.
But I want a relationship that will not overshadow, my future
with "the other girl". How do I end this, with out shattering
her heart. And is she a diamond or dud ?

Thanks you idiots. But the point is,
I am ready for a serious relationship,
only if the girl is worth it. And I think
she is. And yes, one is willing to give
up playing the field, too. But I know my
future is not with her, in terms of
marriage. So if she wants to marry
me, then what do I do ? Perceptive
minds, hit me up .

So you're with someone right now and you want to dump her (gently) and go with the blonde you knew from Wendy's?
There is no easy way to dump someone, just be honest-ish and say you're not as into the relationship as you used to be and that you have met someone else you want to get to know better. Make it very clear that nothing has happened yet and you're only telling her now to be as decent about this as you can be (better she knows sooner rather than later).
I cant say whether the girl is a diamond or a dud...you'll have to use your own judgement on that and deal with the consequences of your decisions when they come.
But if you're just looking for fun, and she's looking for a potential husband, there could be heartbreak and more trouble ahead, tread carefully!

I agree that you are the Dud, you are not ready for a committed relationship, so why go near her? She has obviously reached that level, and you haven't, if you just want to play the field, go do that, there is nothing wrong with that, but if you think that this girl is the one for you, ask her out.

Bottom line, she is looking for someone solid, and you are not it!

"I am ready for a serious relationship" ,
"But I know my future is not with her, in terms of
marriage"

If you truly want a serious relationship that means a long term one that may lead to marriage so why would you want to go out with this woman who you feel you cant have a future with? surely you are contradicting yourself here. If you want a serious relationship seek someone you can have that with.

To be honest mate i don't think this place is the best place to find the answer this. you need to ask yourself if she's the one you want to spend all your time with. if she isn't then don't get involved because people just end up getting hurt. when you say you met her "on the job" i take it you don't mean she's a hooker either - if you're american then you probably don't realise what you're saying here :P
