Yes, but better they didn't come in the first place. I remember all the fuss being created about allowing Mike Tyson into the country, and he was only here for a single boxing match and then would return home. The PC lefties though, don't like boxing, and he had been convicted (by a kangaroo court of feminists who had no hard evidence) of rape. Now, because it suits their agenda, anyone can come.

It depends on the seriousness of the offence. Some people have family and children here and just deporting them could be considered a breach of human rights. There has to be some kind of system in place, but not just automatic deportation, each case would need to be reviewed individually. HTH : )

My first thought was going to be 'yes, it should' but then I had a better idea.
Politicians in government should be compelled to live in a particular borough of London, and foreign immigrants who do time after commiting an offence should automatically be deported to the same borough as the government. Likewise paedophiles should be deported to this borough and also teenage ASBO holders. Only then will these namby-pamby loony-lefty liberal (Guardian-reading) criminal cuddlers get it.
Only when they have to live among scum will they start to appreciate the real life problems the rest of us face.

Depending on the offense and their status, many are deported. If an illegal alien commits an offense, when they are placed in jail, there is a detainer placed on them, so once they finish their tour of duty, they are set up for deportation and removal. I think they all should be automatically deported, but as you would know it, here in the U.S. even the criminals have rights, and the Justice system has to make sure they are not violating them. Sad, very sad.......

I'd prefer to see them deported, rather than them serving a prison sentence. Don't see why the country should have to pay in the meantime.

Yes, we've got enough problem with our own criminals we don't need the hassle of dealing with foreign felons. Forget the prison sentence, deport them, it's much cheaper though with our border control as it is, it probably wouldn't work.

Yes! If we had secure borders I say deport them immediately! Why should America have to foot the bills for Another Countries Criminals!
American Taxpayers are paying BILLIONS of dollars to support illegal aliens in our juvenile halls, jails and prisons!

How about before they have served. I don't want to pay for them to be in prison if they are on their way out of the country anyway.

its a crime for them to be hear illegally in the first place. so if they get caught its 18 months in a detention center. after that they deport them, if they are caught again they have to serve 26+ months again in a detention center. if they commit a murder and etc, its federal time from there
