The fact is that the Bible is full of contradictions, in face, there is a whole book that lists all the contradictions in the Bible, that makes it totally unbelieable.

Wow! You're letting this get in the way of your eternal salvation? What does this have to do with accepting an honest and personal relationship with Jesus Christ?
There is no contradiction in the creation story. The second account is not a separate account but a CONTINUATION of the first. If you read it carefully you will see that God had already established the order of the creation. The second account is ONLY an account of Adam & Eve and how God created them to care for what He had already created (i.e. plants, animals, ground, etc.)
Don't read too much into it. Read it at face value, then once you become a Christian, the Holy Spirit will clear up things for you.

My main guess is translation and human errors.
While the Bible may have, at one time, been inspired by God, you have to remember it was penned by human hand, and repenned, and translated, and translated, etc. In translation, things get mangled, and sometimes people will slip something in that wasn't even there before, either through ignorance, or possibly even malicious intent. If it goes unnoticed, that slip propagates to other copies, and eventually is taken to have been there all the time.
While I believe in God, I don't think the Bible is really something to completely believe anymore, mainly due to the reasons above. Nowadays, I believe some parts of the bible are beyond repair, but some parts of it are ways to teach some good morals, if one does not have them naturally already. But to believe many of the stories in the bible of today seems somewhat foolish, just get the moral of the story, and you'll be fine.

Going to a website to answer a question is a hurdle for me.
What two accounts?
TO BECOME A CHRISTIAN
It's a process over time, it's not going to happen overnight. But there are steps to take. First pray and ask the Father into your heart (mind) and life. Ask for change of you. Ask for guidance and direction. Ask for forgiveness of your sins. Do all this in Jesus name (authority).
Come to the reality that as long as you dwell in the flesh body you are going to fall short. All are sinners. Repentance is a change of mind not a license to sin. Perfection is maturity or full age in His Word. We are to produce fruit and glorify Christ.
His Word is an life learning process. Trust this man or no man unless you check it out in His Word. I've been at it earnestly for 16 years. I'm producing fruit but feel I'm still in the process. Don’t clean house (clean up your act) without filling that void with the Word of God.

IMO, the stories of Genesis were stories important enough to pass down from one generation to the next, verbally. (That really should explain everything you need to know.) These are stories that teach us about having Faith in God and trusting God and obedience to God. Each time any of the Genesis stories are mentioned in the New Testament they are mentioned for this purpose, to give as examples of Faith and obedience. Never once are the actual details of the story used.
What does this tell me? Read the stories for what they teach us about Faith in God. If you focus on the actual details, did a flood really cover the entire earth, was the world really created in 7 days, you render the story meaningless, because you are overshadowing the meaningful parts.

That's the biggest hurdle for you.
My biggest hurdle is the whole thing coming from Moses.

Psalm 118:8
It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man.
Proverbs 29:25
Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe.
Jeremiah 17:5
This is what the LORD says: "Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for his strength and whose heart turns away from the LORD.
Jeremiah 17:7
"But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him.
-You need to be aware that man will distort the scriptures and Satan will do anything to keep people away from the Truth of God- It is the Holy Spirit who leads us into all truth, and if you are not walking in the Spirit of God, you will not hear the truth nor accept it- it will be twisted in your understanding.
Colossians 2:8
8See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits[a] of the world, and not according to Christ.

Email him and ask him if he has had any seminary training. If he has not, then don't bother. He's trying to do the same thing lots of people have done over the years. He's taking everything at face value. You wouldn't want some one to think you were a bad person before they ever got to know you, would you?

you don't need to "believe" in the Bible to be a Christian.
Acceptance of Jesus as your Savior, and living your life according to his teachings will go a lot further.
