Since I've never been there, I can't claim absolute authority, but one interpretation is that it's almost Buddhist. Social relationships (marriage, family, friends) are dissolved, and everyone is happy because their soul has become one with God.

We are told in scripture that eye has not seen what the Lord has prepared for those who go to Heaven. What it looks like is a wonderful thought but really appeals is the fact that we will be with our Lord.
