I am 26 yrs old with 3 kids and a husband I love very much. So how come I cant be a healthier person for them. I have smoked for almost half my life and I know its bad and I really dont want to die a misserable death but I cant seem to quit. Why? I also know it is important to excersize and eat healthy too and I cant seem to make it a habit. I wish when I had the free time to smoke I would exercize...What is wrong with me that I know what I need to do but cant commit to it!!

Bad habits are the hardest to break. I've never smoked but other smokers have told me it is hard to quit because of the nicotine addiction. Maybe it would help motivate you to exercise if your routine involved something you already enjoy. Example: If you like going to the mall....go for a brisk walk at the mall while you "window shop". You might also consider getting your husband and kids involved in your exercising routine.
