The god of the old testament is not Satan, but is Yaldaboath. Yaldaboath/Yahweh is an evil, manical, egotistical demigod who runs this world; he is not the Supreme Being worthy of worship. Jesus was sent to rescue people from the damning hands of Yaldaboath to be with the Supreme Being, where they would live in peace and bliss.
Satan is a being that is loyal to Yaldaboath. He is a tempter of mankind, but is not the supreme evil in the world; that is Yaldaboath's role. In the end, Yaldaboath will be destroyed.
...at least that's what many of the Gnostics say. ;p

I think what was originally said was good, but it has been perverted into what people are calling the word of god in the bible. Most of that was never written in the bible. But they keep on shoving it down our throats as the word of god. And they use circular logic - I am perfect and this statement is true - using the last half of the statement to prove the first half. It doesn't work, but the bible says so.

Anyone who believes in a satan that is an independent force (ie god) that contends with God is a practicing idolator...regardless of who he worships.

Go outside...climb the nearest woods, the nearest mountain. Go to a lake, drop your feet in the water, and peer in it's depths. Go to the ocean and walk among it's waves.
Does that feel or look like a mistake to you?
Thank Jesus.

I know that you have no idea what you are talking about. You are like a puddle of water. Insignificant junk floats to the top because it has no weight.
