Not only was it wrong to start a war in Iraq, it was also Illigal.
Of course it will end, hopefuly not before order is restored in the country, otherwise, the US will leave another country in ruins like they did to Afganistan, Nicaragua, Cuba and others.

At this moment, the question of whether it was right or wrong to move into Iraq is academic. We are there now. Changes in strategy should have been made many months ago and my feeling is that if one intends to go to war, then by any means, GO TO WAR. If one must fight, then give everything to it possible. My experience has always been that if I was forced to fight, I gave everything I had to it and didn't let up until the guy was a crumpled heap on the ground, no longer trying to get up.
Expense? Dollar amounts....well, how much were the lives of the first 10 soldiers who died worth? What is done, is done. Backing out now is not an option for me. We stay and finish this and commit to getting it done right the first time so we do not have to go back and "do it right again".

no we should have never attacked them.Bush has already admitted he was wrong about the weapons due to bad intelligence.well if Saddam had no weapons this means he got rid of them and was complying with the U.N. sanctions.therefore there was no reason.by law this is a war crime.so why didn't we leave then?well why does Vice President Cheyney have to go to Saudi Arabia to talk to them before the President talks to the leader of Iraq.this makes their involvement in this war obvious, and it makes all the pieces of this puzzle fit.the reason this war just keep going for no apparent reason is:as long as this war continues all the countries that were getting their oil from Iraq have to keep buying more from Saudi Arabia.the people of Iraq don't want the government that the U.S. is trying to force on them because under this plan the U.S. and the Saudis would secretly control their oil because they will keep their guys as head of their country.the other part of this puzzle that comes together is the fact that Bush keeps trying to find reasons to attack Syria and Iran.this not for their oil it is for more profit for the Saudis.now N.Korea, they want to handle this diplomatically because there is no oil profit for the Saudis there. you may not agree with these opinions but you have to see that this is the only way it all makes sense.

Theres reading about the war in Iraq and hearing stories of the men out there fighting to stop terrorism....but for me, its just to close to home....my husband is a serving soldier who will be getting posted out there at some point.!!! I dont want the war to continue. But i believe the serving soldiers out there deserve our respect for trying to bring order and peace to their country as part of their jobs.

Has every one forgotten why we went over there in the first place? I bet every person that had a family member in the twin towers can remember. the main reason we are over there is to find ousama bin laden. Just as if someone killed your mother, father, brother or sister you would want to find that person, wouldn't you? so they can't hurt any one else, right? and right now i think everyone has just forgot how we all pulled together right after 9/11. yes i wish we didn't have to go to war but it's to protect the freedoms we enjoy everyday, freedom of religion, freedom of press, FREEDOM OF SPEECH. The freedom to have an education and a job. (women) The freedom to start your own business. There is a lot to be thankful for. there are a lot of people to be thankful for. the people who are protecting those freedoms right now in Iraq. God bless America!! and God bless our Soldiers. God bless the families of those who lost their lives in 9/11. God bless our government officials so that they may make wise decisions for our good. God Bless the President (he really needs it). and God bless You.

America has now been involved with this war longer than it was involved in WWII. Bush has already said that he plans on staying in Iraq until he is out of office. It's his ticket to a free reign in the White House. Why would he want to pull out? He will be able to blame the next president for the failures that he created.

I don't have feelings for the war. I'm rather detached and narrow sighted. I see US occupation to some extent there indefinitely as it holds key oil interest.
In an petroleum driven economy, I don't expect anything less from the US based on this country's past history.
