YES!!!!!!!!!! I do believe in marriage. I have been married for over 10 years. A marriage is what you make it. So many fail because people get married for the wrong reasons. There is only ONE reason you should get married, and that is because you and your partner LOVE each other unconditionally. And I am not saying date a guy for 2 weeks and say I love you and get married the next week. I was engaged for almost a year and I had known the man I married since I was 10. So, if you want a marriage to work you must first REALLY know the person, have a totally honest relationship.

I was raised in a very old fashoned home. I believed in and took my marriage vows very seriously. She left me to pursue someone else, we have two kids, I still pay all of the bills and mortgage for the house she stays in to keep a roof over my childrens head. I never cheated on her and truly did everything I could to keep her happy, it was never enough. Before her all of my girlfriends, I mean ALL of them cheated. So, no I dont believe it is worth it. People as a whole dont know what commitment is anymore. Im thinking about becoming a monk!

Extremely Great Question. HELL NO!! Marriage is good in the movies and in storybook land. It's not something that human beings here on earth can manage. People change and for someone to get in front of all their friends, relatives and god (in a church) and "vow" (promise) to be a certain kind of person until they die is utterly ridiculous. There is ABSOLUTELY no need for people to bind themselves legally to another person like that. It's a life sentence for misery. Who needs that? Life's hard enough as a single person, now you wanna attach another unstable person to you? DON'T DO IT!!! Marriage should be cleaned and burned!

i definitely don't..
i don't think people can really stay loyal to anything long enough to make a marriage last. besides, i don't think people think marriage is a big deal anymore. people just do whatever they feel like doing now..respect, cherish, or whatever no longer exists.. the fact that people are more living for themselves in the most selfish ways makes any form of agreement unreliable.

even if a couple stays in a marriage for the sake of the marriage.... i doubt anybody can love their other halves like they had once vowed ..

Humans just tend to make promises we cannot keep.

I really believe in marriage now that I married a Mail Order Bride. She cooks, cleans, and provides all of my sexual fantasies. You American women really need to take lessons form the foriergn women on how to treat a man.

I believe marriage is between a man and a woman.

And, don't pay attention to any statistics or polls on marraige they are designed to advance personal agendas.

i believe in marrage (done it twice).

i also believe thet marrage should be a three year contract that is only renewed when both parties agree to extend the contract.

an escape clause should exist for times when the girl (or guy) you have loved forever is now available and wants you.

Uh, of course i believe in marriage. It's not like Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny, which don't exist. And if you let statistics scare you, then you shouldn't even have sex with all the STD's around.
