In the legend, oriental monk is suppose to be a pure and simplify
fellowship, should have no flickering sensation,but after all
he is also a human being. So what do you think ,does a monk need sex?

Your question is good enough to be answered, the monks are the people that have set out to reach the apex of spiritual profundity on earth…not only sex but anything unclean should be far from their living; they have taken a radical decision which is only going to be rewarded from the spiritual realm. They have got what they asked for, so why need sex and physical satisfaction? They are alive in the spirit and have accepted to be dead in the flesh…living beings need sex but a monk doesn’t. I am happy for them for they alone can answer the question of what spiritualism is all about without error…they communicate heaven as often as they wish…visit a monastery and find it out for yourself.

The sex impulse is the most dynamic force in human nature.Most monks have good discipline in controling it;sad to say there were cases of monks succumbing to it!

Humans do have certain biological needs but monks are trained to see beyond these needs. Mind over matter. But there are cases of sexual abuse in all religious sects.....though they are not all that common.

I think some people do need sex. Of course they won't die without it but it can make you very unhappy and lonely. So some people, I think need sex for their own mental well being.
