They Premiership or the English FA should never even think about allowing Celtic or Rangers to go straight into the Premiership. They should start from the bottom like everybody else.
Celtic may have beaten Man U last week, but this was literally a hit and run.
Sorry but neither team are upto standard.
They look good in the SPL because it is basically catered for them. They have the monopoly on TV apprearances, sponsorship etc. All the other teams just fight over the dregs.
Hearts had a chance to become a good team, but Romanov has broken the team.

if and thats a massive if, celtic and rangers got into the premiership and got the monies that the rest get, what would happen is both Rangers and Celtic would finish mid table in there first season second year they both would finish in the top half of the league and by year three they would be competeing for the title, the support that rangers and celtic have worldwide especially America is massive. and both celtic and rangers would be as big as any european team like Barca, Man U, AC Milan.
the premire teams are aware of this and realize the potential of the glasgow teams which is why they will never get in. both the teams play regulary in front of 50 to 60 thousand at there home games, are a massive draw to in America and the East. Wow just think of the propects but this is only a dream unless Sky TV say "yes let them in" after all 1.5 Billion pounds does give you a massive voice.

Well where will I start! Celtic with their current squad would probably qualify for the UEFA Cup and then after all the TV monies etc came in they would be challenging for the league. Being probably Britains best supported club and also a world brand the sky would be the limit.
Personally I can't see them letting us in as it would offend the smaller clubs!! I would happily accept being put into the equivalent of the 3rd Division.
Hail Hail

Celtic would struggle for a Uefa place and Rangers would be fighting for survival. That said Celtic would be able to strengthen their squad quickly (the lure of playing in a proper league) and I think they would then be up there with the "Big" 4

After a couple of season Rangers, Celtic, Chelsea and Man U would dominate year on year (Chelsea because of their money and the othes because of their support) Their media revenue combined with fanatical support would see them rise in value to a massive proportion and they would attract big names and dominate the league. No English team will vote for that

Celtic probably Champions' League places. Rangers maybe upper mid-table, possibly UEFA Cup.
Honest opinion. But after a few seasons, they might a force to be reckoned with, because they already have strong reputations and can attract big name players.

With their current squads? Celtic top 6 maybe Rangers much lower...but if they were allowed in Celtic would become a top club after a few years. They are a massive club and would be able to attract some top players if they were in a top league.

Mid table with the present squads but as someone says give them the TV money and watch them go. They both have a huge and fanatic support base and within a couple of years they would be challenging for the title.
