do you believe in psychics? do you think your are psychic?

I don't think I am psychic, I know I am!!! I am a Spiritualist Medium and have given many people proof that I don't make it up, it is real. And before all of you on here condemn me I do most of my work for free, so I am not out to con people. I merely want to help and bring people comfort when their loved ones in the spirit world come through with a message for them. What would be the point in pretending otherwise? Yes, there are some out there who tell people what they want to hear and charge them the earth for doing it, but I don't. I don't predict the future either as we all have free will and can change what is going to happen to us at any time. Right, off my soap box now!!!!

I recently attended a demonstration of mediumship and clairvoyance at the SAGB in central London. I must say before I went I was very cynical about the whole thing. However, the medium gave me a message that was not only very accurate but also information that nobody could possibly know. I was amazed and left feeling somewhat rattled by what had happened. So, I returned and again another accurate message from the Spirit World came through. Now my cynicism has somewhat eroded and I must say until you've tried it never knock it! I believe mediumship and therefore "being psychic" is a difficult notion to grasp but I feel that there are individuals who have a special gift who can interact with the spirit world.

Are we not all a little psychic? Mothers have known something bad is going to happen to their child/loved ones. Is she a psychic? What about people who write scripts or books, and what they wrote happens. Are they psychics?? What about the guy who wrote about the titanic 1 year before it happen? Psychics? I would say the ones on tv are not to be trusted - more card trick playing there.
If I think I am Psychic.....well I have had my one or two experiences. So I would think yes a little psychic is in me too.

Just as there are many different kinds of intellegence, there are different kinds of psychic abilities.

Personally, I have some psychic ability, and it has been recognized by others since I was a child. Without prior arrangement, I would go somewhere to see a friend who happened to be there by chance. I would bring things along (seemingly unneeded) on a trip, to find that someone did actually need this item. (e.g. a 100' extension cord to a group picnic)

Does it happen always? No. I have taken tests for this ability and have some stronger points and some weaker ones. Can I, or would I make incredible claims? no. Would I be one of these charging for readings? no.

I use my ability to call people when I think they are having a hard time. I tend to know what sort of prayer or poem or book might help them go through what they are presently going through. I tend to know whether they need a walk or a talk or a hug or some sort of more energetic motivation.

I suppose I'm an empath, and testing showed strong precognition and postcognition skills. It will never be my living though, as I have other abilities I use to make a living.

I believe we are all psychic, but for the majority the gift or the belief has been long knocked out of them. Educated out is another way of looking at it. Many professional psychics have grown up in a psychic friendly environment. Perhaps a grand-parent or parent with the knowledge has helped bring the extra sense out in the open and encouraged its use. But there are as many practicing psychics who have not had the benefit of caring psychic guidance and who have still managed to develop and hone this natural extra sense.
