Personally I don't agree with women having to wear that black get up and being completely covered up. I disagree with having to walk behind a man and not being allowed to drive and any other law which is oppressive to women. Basically I am a human being and not a second class citizen and wish to be treated as such. I don't have an issue with the no drinking and eating Halal food though. For these reasons I won't go to Saudi Arabia.

Mainly, it is too restrictive for most people (can't drink, sexes can't work or socialise together publicly, women have to cover up completely, punishment is too severe for minor infractions). Combine this with the perception that the Middle East is too unsafe generally given events over the last 2 decades or so.

I was not allowed in to Saudi as I had a smal gold crucifix around my neck and a bible in my bag! They can shove their religious bigotry up their arses!! Muslims in this country can live how they wish - their hijabs and mosques all over the place!!

My friend says that you are not allowed to wear a t-shirt or short trousers??? They need to practice what they preach before they come over here lecturing us about how persecuted the Muslims feel in Britain!!

Well, a lot of people wouldn't be keen on the no-drinking laws, the governent is quite corrupt and the punishments draconian. Plus my friend was banned for life, so out of loyalty I wouldn't!
